All the pink flowers are blooming. Take a stroll with me through the garden, and let's admire all the different forms this color takes - from the palest, most delicate, almost white pink, to nearly scarlet pink.
Flowers get their pink color from anthocyanins, the same thing that makes blueberries blue, or kales purple. Anthocyanins are thought to be a protection for the plant somehow. Not sure how that relates to flowers, but I sure do enjoy looking at them.
